Terranova RP is a casual, original character roleplay based off the indie game, Terranova. It takes place in the same world. Terranova is created by illuminesce and mabbees.

This roleplay is only open to people who have joined the Terranova Discord. If you would like to join, please do so here.

Terranova is a post-apocalyptic roleplay that takes place within the provinces of Urdania and Terranova, two city-states with tense relations.

Terranova is trying to recapture their past glory of the Information Age in the midst of an apocalyptic wasteland. They are cybernetic punks, wealthy technology moguls and enterprising opportunists.

Urdania lives in the present and within their means, even if it means sometimes going without. They are stout survivalists, stalwart spiritualists, and mischievous magic users.

They are split by the Chasm, which has unknown depths and terrors lurking inside.

So...which will you choose? Magic? Technology? Or...something darker?

1. Join the Terranova Discord.


2. Make a free account on Dreamwidth.


3. Navigate to the #apply-here channel and apply using the template below.


4. Once a mod approves your application, you will be given access to the roleplay channels in Discord and posting access in the Dreamwidth.


5. Within a week of your approval, please make an introduction post for your character on Dreamwidth. Here is an example post. If you can't, it's okay. Just let a mod know.


6. Use the Discord to roleplay! If you've finished a scene, please post the logs to the Dreamwidth community for everyone to enjoy :)

This is an OC (original character) roleplay, so no pre-existing characters owned by others, please.

You must be part of the Terranova Discord (and by extension, 18+) to join. Anyone who is not 18+ will be removed from both the roleplay and community. No exceptions.

Please post a character introduction post within a week of being approved. If you can't, it's okay. Just let the mods know.

Be respectful of boundaries. This is pretty self-explanatory. There will be absolutely no tolerance for any type of discrimination or harassment, covert or overt. If you want to engage in a love scene, ERP, etc. you must get consent from all parties involved. You do not have to engage in 18+ roleplay to be a part of this community.

If your post contains graphic depictions of gore, suicide, eating disorders, and in general potentially difficult subjects, tag it visibly. If someone asks you to add tags, please do so.

If you can't resolve a conflict, take it to a mod. Really. Even if you think it's a small thing, try what you can to resolve it but if it's not working, talk to us. That being said, mods are not therapists, so if we find our inboxes filled with requests, we reserve our right to ask you to resolve the issue on your own.

This is a casual roleplay. We all have busy lives, so it's okay to make a character even if you don't know how much time you'll be able to commit. We want folks to get to know each other and have fun. The more the merrier!
